Falling For Christmas |
|
L aura K. Fiorelli-Allen had posted a card that I felt was beautiful:) She had used a doily die (non-Stampin' Up!) I got to looking and see that the Falling for Leaves die would be perfect to make a doily. I love how it turned out (squeal)! I hope you like it to. I also have a free tutorial on how I made it.
Supplies:
Cherry Cobbler Card Base- 8 ½ x 5 ½ scored at 4 ¼ inches
Layer 1 Shaded Spruce- 5 ¼ x 4 inches
Layer 2 Galvanized Metallic Paper (embossed w/Tin Tile) 5 x 3 ¾ inches
Strip 1- Champagne Glimmer Paper 5 x 1 ½ inches
Strip 2- All is Bright DSP 5 x 1 ¼ inches
1 3/8 inch Scallop circle punch Merry Merlot glimmer paper from Joyous Noel pack
Stamp buffalo check in tuxedo black on Cherry Cobbler and cut out with stitched circle die
Very Vanilla for banner 1 ½ x 3 inch or larger
Very Vanilla 8 ½ x 5 ½ inch for Falling for Leaves die, you will need 4 die cuts
Tuxedo Black Ink
Snail
Liquid adhesive
Stampin Dimensionals
Assembly:
Adhere layer 1 and then add layer 2 (embossed piece) to card base. Add glimmer paper to center of galvanized piece and then the dsp with liquid glue. Die cut 4 leaves and layer the pieces to form a doily layer. Adhere them in place (see picture) with liquid glue. Cut out scalloped circle and then the buffalo check stitched circle and add to center of doily with dimensionals. Add paperclip to center of it with liquid glue. Stamp sentiment with tuxedo black onto Very Vanilla cardstock and cut out with die from Merry Christmas to All bundle. Adhere it towards bottom with dimensionals.
Now mail your card to spread some Christmas cheer!
