CASEing the catty and a #TGIF183 |
|
T oday I decided to CASE the catty for ideas. On page 12 I seen the Noel card and decided I would put my creativity into it.

Instead of a punched out circle, I used the swirly thinlits die. I used layers for my card front and made it a full coverage card. I then added a couple of punched sprigs and a galvanized button with some twine and the banner I used the galvanized metallic paper for the noel. I really love how it turned out and I love that the catalog has so many inspiring projects!
Measurements:
Cherry Cobbler Card Base- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Mossy Meadow layer- 5 1/4 x 4
Festive Farmhouse DSP- 3 3/4 x 5
I adhered the mossy meadow and then the dsp with snail. I then added the striped ribbon across the middle with snail also. I then cut out the swirly scribble (largest one) and centered it on the card front and adhered it down with some snail in some part of it. I cut out the galvanized banner from the Farmhouse Christmas thinlits, then I popped it up with dimensionals and centered it over the striped ribbon and swirly scribble. Using liquid glue I added the noel to the banner. I added the sprigs in each corner with glue dots. To finish off the card I used some bakers twine from the Festive Farmhouse, thread it through the holes in the button and tied it in a knot. I then adhere it with a glue dot.
I am entering this card in the TGIF Challenges, challenge #183 Washi tape & Twine
